0 FollowerWelcome to the official page of Davod Azad, a renowned Iranian singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. He is an expert in Iranian classical music, Azeri folk music, Ancient Persian music, and Persian Sufi music.
He has performed in many countries and lectured at prestigious universities such as Oxford. He has also released several albums of his original and traditional works. He is the first Iranian lecturer invited to Oxford University to lecture about Iranian music and its forms. He is also known for his innovative work “The Divan of Rumi & Bach” where he combines Iranian traditional music with Bach’s famous melodies.
He is admired for his distinctive singing style, which integrates classical and modern spiritual elements, as well as for his stunning improvisations.
